Chicago Lakefront 50K is a Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) Registered Race
| Location: | Starts and finishes on Chicago's lakefront,
at Foster Avenue Beach House. Map |
| Start: | 8:30 a.m. Seven hour time limit. Early Start option is available. Click for early start guidelines. |
| Course: | Consists of 3 out-and-back segments. The race follows the Lakefront running path. Mostly gravel with some asphalt sections. One of the flattest 50k’s in North America. |
| Awards: | Medals to all finishers. Overall male and female trophies.

| Cool Tech Shirt: | To every paid participant. |
| Aid Stations: | Approximately every 2.5 miles. Amply stocked with water, Gatorade, Cola, and a variety of food items. |
| Parking: | Ample and free at Start/Finish area. |
